Of the 460 legal executives surveyed, 82% report an increasing workload in the past 12 months, while 80% expect their budget to increase in the coming fiscal year.
In the U.S., the legal ops team will be a top recipient of any additional resources.
Fifty-one percent of the U.S.-based respondents identified adding legal operations headcount as their most likely solution to excessive workloads, ranking it first among their options.
