— Hermès executive chairman Axel Dumas, in comments noted by Reuters that were given during the fashion company’s annual shareholder meeting, concerning a lawsuit recently filed against Hermès that accuses the luxury fashion house of creating a tying arrangement that only allows customers with a “sufficient purchase history” to buy its popular Birkin handbags. Hermès has hired Latham to represent the brand in court.
